Different people have different definitions of friend. For some, it is a trusting individual whom you trust won't hurt you. For others, it is unconditional an lover. There are some who feel that a friend is a companion. People form definitions based on the kind of experiences they have had. This is one relation that has been nurtured since times immemorial. There are famous stories about friends in mythologies of different religions all over the world. They say a person who has found a faithful friend has found a priceless treasure.

that isn't how i define it. i think a friend is...

a person who shows you the right way when you are going wrong.
a person who shares all your fun and all your sorrows.
a person who saves you when you are in danger.
a person who is always on your side in any situation.
thats a true friend.

it is not the person who encourages you to do bad things
it is not the person who hates you when you do something good.
so learn to differentiate from a good friend and a bad friend.
it is really important to have a good friend on your side instead of a person who betrays at your back
